you have an older version of allegro. although the fix is easy (it
involves editing two characters), i would recommend downloading the
newest version.

i cannot tell you what exactly you should fix because i no longer have
that version of allegro. you should be able to find it by searching the
mailing list archives at http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/
