I quoted only the part of the message I wished to comment on. I was
merely pointing out a method in which a compiler could be used to trap
a common and simple typo. I agree that I have inadvertently caused
your reply to Stanley Tsang to appear as if he wrote it. If you deem
this mistake bad enough to warrant a flame then, so be it. I have
been misquoted like this in the past, as have others. I put it down
to human nature - not all of us are perfect. On the other hand, some
of us are anally retentive.
