I'm using Allegro v2.2 in 640x480x256 mode. I've got a map that is
bigger than the actual screen by at least 4x. What would be a faster way of
scrolling other than brute-force blitting the image at a certain screen
offset? Would hardware-scrolling methods be usable once 32k and 64k color
modes are being used?
Any help would be appreciated.
