Well, I recently borrowed C For Dummies I from my library, and a good
book it was too. But it teaches you bad low level habits (like using int
16 to read the keyboard directly).
If you buy it, the Borland examples using sound() etc will work under
DJGPP. Pity no DJGPP stuff :(
BTW, QBasic is smellier than a 200 day old sock. It's interpreted,
Microsoft, patronising, no source code protection, basically, it STINKS!
If you want BASIC, learn BBC BASIC VI (go buy an Acorn!)
