Today I had also a freeze of rhide (1.3). I myself am not using C++ nor
am I using Rhide or any GUI style IDEs - (just use vi and make, rarely
a debugger, at most if I cannot track down a very weird bug). Anyway
I wanted to show RHIDE to a colleague who reached Borlands C
limits/deficiencies and I gave him DJGPP v2. But he also wante an IDE
so I showed him RHIDE.
Not knowing the right extension right off from the start I let it have
the extension .cpp - I should have gone suspicious when I noticed
that make didn't have .cpp as built in suffix ;-) - but when I
opened a new project file with the one file something.cpp as the only
source file and clicked Build All in the compile menu
RHIDE got totally frozen.
Later after I had noticed that I had to name the file .cc
RHIDE ran the compile and link phase fine without problems
but that it totally froze on the wrong suffix got me a bit
confused.
