>That's very interesting! I'm not sure I've ever seen a card using IRQ >11, before, so you could well have hit on a problem with my SB setup >code (btw. what breed is your soundcard?). My sound card (SB-comp 16bit Telsnd) also defaults to IRQ 11, and that causes problems when trying to run games compiled by such inferior things as Watcom (Doom, Descent, etc). I think the extender or compiler has trouble letting programs access IRQ's higher than 7 or 9.
