I'm writting a program in C++ that needs to find out the time/date stamp on a file, which it will have open for reading from. To call the function fstat will I have to re-open the given file using the "old" C FILE method or is there a way to do so with the already open file stream? Timtothy Robb Serving humanity since 1978
