Hi all, I'm having a bit of difficulty installing Emacs on my machine. After carefully following the steps outlined in emacs.README located at the SimTel archive, I downloaded the pre-compiled Emacs binaries with all of the support files. I didn't download the sources or the Elisp stuff. When I try and run it emacs it just gracefully exits without another word. If I run emacs --help I do get a response. Can anyone help?
