I thank you for the advice. BTW : Where are those docs?
My main interest was merging the g77 0.5.19.1 sources with the
gcc sources , applying the patches , and recompiling the whole
thing.
It was my understanding that g77 would only be built in
stage2. Correct me if I am wrong.
( g77 0.5.19.1 fixes some bugs in complex arithmetic operations
relative to the 0.5.19 binary that is on simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2gnu )
Alas, the DJGPP version of patch seems to fail for me also , saying
it can't create backups. Presumably an LFN problem ??
