DOSSTART.BAT is NOT executed when you start DOS boxes in win95.
DOSSTART.BAT is executed when you shutdown win95 into MS DOS Mode.
The original poster on the problem is advised NOT to play with DOSSTART.BAT
for now as he is having problems even placing the correct settings in
autoexec.bat
