I have a problem that I can't figure out. When I installed djgpp and
rhide, everything seemed to be working fine. I could compile and all.
Then I got emacs and file-utils, etc. and I have a problem. Every time
I go to gnu subdirectory, I can't use any commands, ie. ls gives me a
message:
C:\dev\gnu>ls
c:/dev/bin/ls: .: No such file or directory (ENOENT)
Also, when I run Emacs, I get the following:
C:\dev\gnu>emacs
Warning: arch-dependent data dir (c:/dev/gnu/emacs/bin/) does not exist.
Warning: arch-independent data dir (c:/dev/gnu/emacs/etc/) does not
exist.
Warning: Lisp directory `c:/dev/gnu/emacs/lisp' does not exist.
I installed everything using Winzip95 (by the way, I'm running Win 95
...).
All the dirs are in place, and when I for example move the emacs dir to
root, emacs works !!
I would appreciate any help.
