As Robert says the Clipper string that you saw is part of the syntax highlight
options. I program in Clipper the saturdays (is for money not for fun, and eats
all my saturdays) so I added syntax hl. support for Clipper programs to the
editor (is not perfect but helps and makes the thinngs more pretty :-). If you
want to support Clipper in RHIDE perhaps you can try setting the compiler and
linker for it (read the RHIDE docs) but I don't know if that's possible. One of
the problems can appear if you use a good linker (not the @#* RTLink), in
general these linkers works in PMode, but in 16 bits pmode so you won't be able
to spawn these programs from RHIDE.
