1. that is not an error message
2. did you preserve the directory tree when you were unzipping?
if you check the makefile, you'll see:
# Allegro makefile, by Shawn Hargreaves #
# #
# This will only work if you preserved #
# the directory tree when installing #
# Allegro (ie. if you used infozip, or #
# the -d flag to pkunzip). #
if that is not what causes your problem, you need to supply more
information.
