This is not an attempt to start a compiler war, but a request for help... I am trying to "upgrade" from Microsoft QuickC ver 2.0 to Watcom 10.0. While QuickC had a DOS-based IDE much like RHIDE, Watcom has none. Has anyone customized RHIDE for the Watcom compiler? For each file.c compiled, Watcom creates a file.err with the warnings and errors. Can I convince RHIDE to display this and allow me to open the editor to the offending line? Please only answer with honest attempts to answer the questions... Matti Picus matti AT tx DOT technion DOT ac DOT il
