   I am working on the FPK compiler
and adding stabs debugging to the output of the compiler.

  My problem is that GDB v4.16 doesn't seem to be able to understand the
output of the stabs, whereas GDB v4.12 for DJGPP v1.12 
was :

  In fact the functions, variables and types reading work,
but GDB misreads the file and linenumbers (which worked with v4.12)
(it just gives the right line number for the main file !)

  Is this a known bug or just a matter of compiling options ?

  By the way, who made the adaptation of GDB to DJGPP v4.16 ?
