Recently, while updating a program I have to use #ifndefs and externs for
header file impementation, I encountered this error while compiling:

gcc -c -O2 -m486 main.c
In file included from main.c:12:
c:/djgpp/include/conio.h:16: parse error before `extern'
make.exe: *** [main.o] Error 1

Does anyone have any ideas? I use externs for the video buffer. I am
perplexed. If you have an idea, please e-mail it to me at
