If it is the mac address you are after it is quite easy to query a packet driver for a mac address (check out the packet driver standard from FTP software or send private email and I will give you my code which does it from DJGPP). Just call the packet driver interrupt with a mac address operation and give it a real mode pointer to a string and it wil fill it in. NDIS/NetBIOS and ODI have similar functions, although I have never used them. Andrew
