Hello, I am the author of BBC, the BBC emulator for DOS. Its page used to
reside here:
http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~n5013784/bbc-emu.htm
However, I have now left university on a temporary basis and so this page will
soon disappear. The new location for the emulator and its page is:
http://www.nether.net/~tommyhl/bbc-emu.htm
(I have also revamped the page -- it looks a lot nicer!)
I have also changed the address for the work-in-progress homepage for my
Williams emulator. It is now at:
http://www.nether.net/~tommyhl/williams.htm
Please update your bookmarks as appropriate.
New Versions
============
Version 0.4 of the BBC emulator is delayed. I am unsure when it will be
released -- to tell the truth I am a bit sick of it and will be putting it
to one side (not very far to one side though!) for a few weeks. If I
finish it before I return to university I will make every effort to put it
on my web page and post an announcement here.
The Williams emulator is progressing quite nicely, although again I am not
sure when I will have a version available for download.
Getting in contact
==================
Since I have left university, I am now without internet access and do not know
how often I will be able to check my nether.net account. Please do not send
me e-mail there about these two programs: I do not wish to cause trouble by
letting my inbox fill up with large amounts of mail.
I will be returning to university in September/October, and with a bit of
luck these two programs will return to their old location. I will post again
when I return.
--Tom
PS This announcement has been posted to comp.os.msdos.djgpp because both these
programs were written using djgpp and Allegro.
