it has nothing to do with doom. i don't even know what possessed paul to
suggest such a thing. why anyone would want to edit a doom wad is beyond me
and there are millions of routines to do it anyway as mr chambers points out.
it's actually for decompressing a 6 meg wavelet image if you must know paul.
not nearly as exciting i'm afraid ;)
and yes, the circular open theatre in which shakespeares plays were supposedly
performed was called the globe. although it wasn't built for that purpose
but that's a whole new thread.. ;)
