Sergio,

there's a (IMHO) very good GUI toolkit portable across DJGPP and Linux
called MGUI. It's been written by a fellow Italian, you'll find it at

I've been using it for a while: it's easier than XForms, it looks good,
it produces compact code---in a word, it's nice!
