Hi,
This posting has to do with the retro-moderation of c.o.m.d
I enjoy reading well-maintained moderated newsgroups like
comp.os.linux.announce
Simply because the density of 'interesting' articles is so high.
Why not create an 'announce' branch for c.o.m.d?
Should be moderated ofcourse,
preferibly by a moderator with a fast response time :-)
And keep the articles restricted to usefull announcements,
meaning no:
- spams
- asking for help
- FAQ questions.
As a matter of fact: without any 'questions' at all.
But rather subjects like:
"MFC ported to djgpp"
"PPRO support in djgpp gas"
"OpenGL for djgpp available"
Ok, I was dreaming away here...
Sorry for that.
So, how about it?
I would vote for it!
Bram
