Try MikMod.  As Brennan's DJGPP page puts it...
"Runs under CWSDPMI, QDPMI, and Windows DPMI. Suppports GUS and SB. Plays
every kind of MOD format I have ever heard of and then some. (Including
.XM) Does interpolation to whatever mixing rate you choose with 8 or 16-bit
output. Shareware. BETA"
