Regarding the "stub and shit": this bloats your exe by 40-50K...but it's
the price you pay for having convenient and transparent access to all of
the megabytes of ram you have on your system, no limits to 640K, no
annoying need to make every .c/.o module under 32K of data and 32K of
code, plus up to 128 megabytes of disk space as RAM in addition! Try that
in Turbo C++, at least without finding (or, heaven forbid *buying*) some
fancy library that's complicated to handle, and having to declare weird
pointer types like volatile int far *. :)
