The user reports he still have problems after he did what he thought was
right. So something is clearly incorrect, or else he wouldn't be asking
for more help. Judging from his post it seemed to me that something is
terribly wrong with his installation, since deleting a directory normally
cannot have any effect on how DJGPP works. In my experience, in such
cases, nuking the entire tree and reinstalling from scratch is the fastest
way to success. That is what I suggested.
