Hi Eli, I was not concise enough. I used DJGPP v2.01. Anyway, I think I found the culprit. f2c has its own implementation of malloc/free/realloc. I removed= it from and rebuilt f2c. My last tries show no more erratic behavior. Thanks anyway! /R=E9gis
