Hello-
Once again I want to thank everyone involved for such a wonderful
product. I do have a problem though that is pestering me.
I have a project file with many *.cc programs in it.... So many
that when Rhide tries to link them all the end off the gcc command line
gets cut off. For instance, when the line is
------------------------------------------
gcc -o original.exe e:/dcc/original/jgrphics.o e:/dcc/original/matrix.o
e:/dcc/original/original.o e:/dcc/original/vector.o -liostr
------------------------------------------
Rhide comes back with the error
------------------------------------------
Error: e:/djgpp/bin\ld.exe: cannot open -lios: No such file or directory
(ENOENT)
------------------------------------------
By changing things around a little bit, I have been able to see
this cut off at different points (ie.- once the error message warned me
that the file "e:/dcc/original/vect" did not exist).
Note that I have been able to make the program as long as I exit
to dos and retype in the "gcc" line by hand (cutting out a couple of extra
spaces and unnecessary stuff to fit it in one dos line).
Is there anything that will fix this? Or am I doing something
unusual that is forcing me to have compile command lines longer than need
be?
Thank you
-Jim
ps- Just in case you are wondering, I am running this on a 486DX-33,
WD1.6Gig hard drive, and using RHIDE10B.ZIP (yes I know Rhide ver. 1.1 is
out, but I am having problems trying to get it running on my system....
Until that gets sorted out, I'm still using ver. 1.0).
