I wrote rsx, an DOS externder for EMX and DJGPP 1.x programs,
and I have also problems with emm386 from Novell DOS 7.

The novell emm386 crashes if you modify the coprocessor state
with the DPMI functions. You must remove this code from the
C library (or go32 startup code) if your program should work 
under Novell emm386.
