What do you really want?. The normal video cards DON'T use any kind
of DMA, I don't know if some crazy people made a video card with DMA
(I don't think so) but that's a crazy thing.
The fastest way to have access to a video card in a big-resolution
mode is using VESA 2 to get the Linear Frame Buffer, with that you'll
be able to address the video memory just like the rest of your system
memory.
The only time that I heard about DMA and video cards was a joke of
Dentor (of the Asfixia demo team) talking about your faster
DMA-kill-your-mother (or some thing similar) algorithm, but again was
a JOKE.
