I encountered a problem when debugging
a faulty program with rhide:
The symptom is that after a few iteration the
numerical algorithm blows up and it tries to
compute the square root of a negative number.
When I start the program from the commandline
it dies with a SIGFPE, as expected. Within
RHIDE, two different scenarios show up:
Single stepping over the guilty line (F7/F8)
kills the program _and_ RHIDE with the SIGFPE.
Trying to get beyond the line with F4 or simply
running it with ^F9 complety locks up my machine
and I have to hard reset it.
As the same thing happens with fsdb, the problem
might just as well be in /djgpp/gdb/wherever.
Any comments?
(Apart from ``Get your dammned algorithm running
correctly ;-)
