Of course - it's simple and easy. DJGPP even supports the long filename
API under Windows 95, so if you want to get this support in your
programs just edit 'djgpp.env' and change the line that says:
+LFN=N
to
+LFN=Y
There can be some minor difficulties working with the DJGPP programs if
they were unzipped without long filenames, but now attempt to use them.
Emacs in particular has this problem. The DJGPP Frequently Asked
Questions list has several suggestions for what to do in this case.
Also, I highly suggest that you upgrade to the latest DJGPP version
(v2.01) if you haven't already, because the LFN support is much, much
better than in v2.00.
