exactly my feeling.  things run SO much faster under DOS and Linux than
under windoze, why support the lame thing.  i noticed (poking around on
someone elses box) that the win95 default "rescue" disk gives you a DOS
boot! (and a copy of edit to post mortem your dead windows with!)
