On Fri, 29 Nov 1996 14:44:37 +0300 (GMT),"Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET)" <salvador AT inti DOT edu DOT ar> babbled: >>1) Robert will not port the TVision lib to WIn95, is a huge work. So you are under the impression that TVision is required to make a quality IDE? >>2) What adavantage you'll get? Seamless integration into the environment that I prefer to work in. >>a) Slowers. >>b) Greaters. >>c) Less confortable for the eyes. subject to debate... >>d) More complex to do. also subject to debate. >>If you know some advantage of a "RHIDE 95" tell me. As I said before it would make things easier for me because I like being able to resize windows and bounce back in fourth between programming and other tasks. I also prefer the look and feel of the Win95 interface (god help me) ... >>If you have 1000 hours/man (or more) to port TVision to Win95 tell me too ;-). Well, since TV is pretty much obsolete, and was never really loved when it was the latest, greatest, I seriously doubt it is necessary. Besides I have already talked to Robert and told him I may take on the task (using Borland Delphi) once I fully understand all that Rhide does. It won't be called Rhide though.
