really now, no need to get so impressed.. someone ported the UNIX V7
kernel to the Z80 (it's on SimTel, called UZI) -- you know, that old 4MHz
thing with 64K of RAM.. and besides, Linux-ELKS is already runnable on the
8086, there already is a shell and compilers and the usual fileutils.
so multitasking and even multithreading is certainly possible on
processors as small as these.
Anyone remember XENIX or PCUNIX? These were originally ported to the i8086 by
Microsoft and AT&T of all folk!
