I don't know if this is specific to DJGPP, but any pointers to more information
would be helpful.  I need to write a program which reads and writes data 
to/from a serial port.  I've never programmed anything which interfaces
directly with the hardware like this.  Is there a library to do this?  Any
reference material on the net?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
