The best place to download djgpp is from the following site:
ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp
The latest version of djgpp is in the directories which start with v2.
You need to download and read the 'v2/readme.1st' file before getting
anything else, as it tells you which files you need to download. I
also HIGHLY recommend downloading the file 'v2/faq201b.zip', which
contains the djgpp Frequently Asked Questions list. Since djgpp is a
32-bit DPMI compiler, there are quite a few differences between it and
compilers like Turbo/Borland/Visual C++. The first 5-6 sections of the
FAQ discuss these differences and many other pitfalls you may encounter
when switching to djgpp.
Good luck!
