Dear programmers, A couple of questions about significant digits of floating point types: 1/ How many significant digits should I consider for float, double and long double types (i386 machines)? 2/ If the answer is not a unique value (for example 6-7 for float, 15-16 for double, etc.), and it depends on the value of the number itself, how can I know in which interval am I? Thank you, XP
