AFAIK, the source code for unix crypt is not available, it is included
in any unix version that is licensed from SysV in some way, but not in
Linux, FreeBSD etc.
The man-page is not very informative on what the program acutally
does, it is apparently something with rotating wheels like the WW2
Enigma. It may be possible to reverse engeneer the program, but there
may be major problems with copyright then. Also you may get problems
with the ITAR madness.
OK, having said all that, if you already have a source code, I would
be very interested in it. (of course, I can't get it legally due to
ITAR again).
bye, Alexander
