There is quite a delay for many of us on the list between an article being
posted by its author, and it appearing at our systems. What happens is that
people receive your mail, and respond to it, before they receive the
responses from others.
Personally I am grateful for any and all of the assistance I have received
here, and often I find that if a number of posts say the same thing
1) It makes me more confident in the correctness of the response
2) They are often subtly different and reading them all can lead to a clearer
understanding of the problem.
You may get a number of replies to this - not because people are ignoring
what others have said, but simply because it hasn't arrived yet.
