Do you use CWSDPMI?  If so, be sure to upgrade to the latest release 2 of 
CWSDPMI (v2misc/csdpmi2b.zip from the same place you get DJGPP).  It 
might solve your problems.  If not, please post the details of your 
system setup as the FAQ describes in section 6.12.
