Another morsel I just found out: everytime F1 kicks me out
to DOS, a new subdirectory appears in \djgpp\temp.
The first one will be named RHAAAAAA, the next RHBAAAAA,
then RHCAAAAA, etc. I had RHA- thru RHWAAAAA in my \temp,
A thru C in my \bin, and RHAAAAAA only in \djgpp. After
deleting them, I'll start up, crash it, and it'll start over
with \djgpp\temp\rhaaaaaa and keep adding new ones thereafter.
All these new subdirs are empty. Weird, eh?
