I just looked at 8.1 again, and it says nothing about Windows NT or
NTFS. It *does* mention setting LFN to 'n' in Windows 95, but as you
know, Windows NT does not support this registry entry. Similarly, I can
assure you (having run both Windows 95 and Windows NT) that these two
operating systems are different beasts alltogether. Especially since
Windows 95 will soon be phased out by Microsoft in favor of Windows NT
4.x, I would recommend updating section 8.1 of the FAQ to include Windows
NT running under NTFS (I don't know if this would even be a problem with
Win NT running under FAT). Thanks for your help nonetheless--this is
just my 2c -- feel free to ignore it.
