I have been programming some sprite routines in DJGPP, which work
using double buffers at 640x480 (256 colour) using VESA 1.2 and VESA
2.0 linear frame buffers. How fast should i expect it to work, at the
moment it will display 50x50 sprites (500 per frame), with colour 0
transparent and VESA 1.2 at about 2450 sprites per second, with VESA 2
it displayed 2500 sprites per second.
