I've read the faq, but I still can't get gprof to run.  I've tried the
following:

compile with -pg (can't link with this like the faq says, is that the
	problem?)
link
exe2coff game.exe (generates game)
run game, works fine.
gprof game, says gmon.out file not found.

What is this gmon.out and how do I make it?  Thanks in advance.
