Please post an example program and its output that exhibit the problem.  
Chances are there's something wrong with the way you call that function, 
but it's really hard to tell without looking at the sources.

There is no CWSDPMI that implements the full DPMI 1.0 spec.  CWSDPMI 
supports only some 1.0 features and so cannot claim it's DPMI 1.0 host.
