I just got done installing EZ-GCC which is reportedly based upon DJGPP v1.12m4. The first c program I tried was the traditional "hello world" program. Running it through gcc I get an executable but when I attempt to run the executable in a dos window under Windows 3.1 I get the following error "This application has violated system integrety due to an invalid fault and will be terminated." Running the executable outside of Windows I get the following error: "EMM386 has detected error #12 in an application at memory address 1B50:0158. To minimize the chance of data loss, EMM386 has halted your computer." Does anyone know what the problem might be? Please email me back as my normal internet provider doesn't seem to carry this newsgroup. Thanks Bruce W. Bodnyk bruceb AT bodnyk DOT microserve DOT com
