I suspect either: 
1) The DJGPP stack is too small - try stubediting CC1 and/or CC1PLUS
   depending on your lang to be 512K instead of 256K stack.
2) If using CWSDPMI, get ftp.neosoft.com:pub/users/s/sandmann/csdpmi1heapfix.zip
   and see if that helps
