Are you referring to WinEmacs 1.35 by Pearl Software? I currently use
this editor and I love it. However, it periodically pops up nag screens
asking you to register the Pearl Sortware proprietary X-windows emulator that
comes with the package. The emulator carries a hefty price tag ($199)
but the performance of the editor is outstanding. If you want to try out
this software you can get it at the following ftp site:
ftp.winsite.com
In the following directory
pub/pc/win3/demo
Download the following files:
wemdemo1.zip 941005 Win-Emacs 1.35 (Lucid GNU Emacs), 1 of 4 [888k]
wemdemo2.zip 941005 Win-Emacs 1.35 (Lucid GNU Emacs), 2 of 4 [1.33m]
wemdemo3.zip 941005 Win-Emacs 1.35 (Lucid GNU Emacs), 3 of 4 [695k]
wemdemo4.zip 941005 Win-Emacs 1.35 (Lucid GNU Emacs), 4 of 4 [940k]
Once you get these files follow the instructions for unzipping them.
Good Luck,
Juan Casero
