Help,
I can't seem to get the gdb debugger to work. I can get it loaded
and running under
go32 with my program, but can't get it to step through the program code.
I try by
setting a breakpoint, and then executing a 'run' to start it off. When
the breakpoint is reached, I usually get an illegal instruction signal. I
don't believe that this is what I should
be getting. Either way, once the program is stopped at that breakpoint,
it refuses to step
or do a next, probably due to the illegal instruction signal which I can't
seem to clear.
To summarize the setup;
1) running in DOS window under Win3.1 with gdb-dpmi
2) files taken from;
djdev112
djeoe112
gcc263
gdb412
and maintenance releases through release 4.
Any ideas ? Does anyone else run the gdb debugger... and if so, under
windows ?
Any help would be appreciated.
