I'm trying to compile C++ code under djgpp, but get a number of errors that seem to suggest that I should be writing C-style code. I use Stroustrup's book and methods (that I understand!) to write the code - including '//' style comments and not using macros at all (where appropriate). The first error is something about 'parse error before /' or a violation of an ANSI C++. I've got the standalone Info file (may need another post as to how to set them up to be *read* by the Info binary...can't seem to find the files!), but am not sure which file I need to read to just start. I thought I could just re-compile and go to see how the compiler and debugger work. I'm using cc1plus.exe to compile with...Should I be using this or cpp.exe? thanks... mark mlinvle AT inlink DOT com
