Hello All,
I am running DJGPP 1.2 and go32 1.12 on a 486DX4-100 with 16MB of RAM.
The system has been running with out a hitch for the last couple of
months. Last night when I added more source code ( I am compiling about
20 C-files into an executable ) I got the following error message :
DPMI: Not enough memory ( 0x002d0000 bytes )
robot.c : In function 'determine_beacon_':
robot.c : virtual memory exhausted
Section 15.3 of the FAQ states :
.... include swapfile = parameter to establish a virtual memory
swap file; ..... make it permanent with the /p option.
( What are the parameters that should go there ? Where do I
get an example of this from ).
Section 3 of the FAQ states :
If you have more than 8MB of RAM
*
*
* install RAM disk with size 1.5MB and point your TMPDIR
environment to it.
( How does one create a RAM disk ? )
I would appreciate any pointers to solutions to my question.
